Hi! My name is MoonPie. I am a calico kitten and am about 4 and a half months old.
This was me on the day I adopted my family of humans. I was nine weeks old.
Humans take alot of work, but make good pets. I spend alot of time entertaining them
and making them laugh. Here I am playing with a toy with ribbons on it. My youngest
pet human has alot of energy and I try to wear him out, but sometimes he
wears me out first.
I was a little sad to leave my other kitty friends behind at the shelter, but these humans
really needed me. I think I have brightened up their lives everyday.
If you would like to be adopted by a kitty like me, you
should consider visiting a shelter. There are lots of kittens and cats of
all colors, ages, sizes and breeds who would love to make your family complete. We have
alot of love to give!
If you aren't available for adoption, you can always come visit us! We love to keep volunteers
busy and sometimes they bring food, toys and other things that kitties and
dogs at the shelter are in need of while they wait for the right human to adopt.
Check with your local shelter to see what you can do to
help out! It will enrich your life as much
as it will ours!
